This guide will walk you through the steps required to set up and start using a phone number with Lead Stack for texting and calling. Follow these steps to seamlessly integrate a phone number into your conversations.
Prerequisites:
- Access to your Lead Stack account.
Step 1: Accessing Conversations Tab
- Log in to your Lead Stack account.
- Once logged in, navigate to the "Conversations" tab. This is typically located in the main menu or navigation bar.
Step 2: Setting Up a Phone Number
Option 1: Automatic Prompt (If No Phone Number is Set Up Yet)
- If you don't have a phone number set up, you'll see a prompt at the top of the Conversations tab. It will likely read: "Get a phone number to start texting and calling."
- Click on the prompt to proceed.
Option 2: Manual Setup via Settings
- If you do not see the automatic prompt, you can manually set up a phone number by following these steps:
- Click on your account profile or settings icon (usually represented by a gear or similar symbol).
- From the dropdown menu, select "Settings."
- Within the Settings menu, locate and click on "Phone Numbers."
Step 2.1: Adding a Phone Number
- On the Phone Numbers page, locate the "Add a Number" option.
- Click on "Add a Number."
- Enter an area code of your choice.
