Feature Overview

The Album Sharing feature in Pictastic.ai enables users to create, manage, and share collections of real estate media with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Albums can contain photos, virtual stagings, floor plans, and 360° tours in an organized, easily accessible format.

Usage Instructions

Creating an Album

1. Navigate to the Albums section in the dashboard
2. Click “Create New Album”
3. Enter album details:
   • Album name
   • Description (optional)
   • Cover image (optional)
   • Access settings

Adding Media

1. Open the desired album
2. Click “Add Media” button
3. Choose from:
   • Upload new files
   • Select from existing library
   • Import from other albums
4. Arrange media by dragging and dropping

Sharing Settings

1. Click “Share” on any album

2. Configure sharing options:

   - View only
   - Download enabled
   - Comment permissions
   - Password protection
   - Expiration date
   

3. Choose sharing method:

   • Generate shareable link
   • Send email invite
   • Embed code

Managing Access

1. Access “Album Settings”
2. Select “Manage Access”
3. Add/remove users or teams
4. Set permission levels:
   • Admin
   • Editor
   • Viewer

Best Practices

Organization

• Use consistent naming conventions
• Create separate albums for different properties
• Utilize tags and categories
• Keep album sizes manageable (recommended max: 500 items)

Sharing

• Set appropriate expiration dates for time-sensitive content
• Use password protection for sensitive materials
• Disable downloads when sharing with prospects
• Enable watermarking for public shares

Maintenance

• Regular cleanup of expired albums
• Archive completed projects
• Monitor storage usage
• Review access permissions periodically
